Yuka, Rinko, Saki, and Natsumi are childhood friends and classmates nearing the end of their second year of middle school and eagerly awaiting their summer break. Unfortunately, it's a bittersweet time for this close-knit group, as Saki is transferring to another school.
The girls are determined to keep the spirit of their friendship alive, even if only for this summer. They reminisce about a large stone the four of them used to visit, tucked away in an old Shinto shrine, and the belief that if four friends gathered around it and made a single wish, it would come true. Now, much to their surprise, they discover that old folktale is true.
Natsu-iro Kiseki follows the magical events the girls go through during this last summer they’ll all spend together. As friendships get tested, and fantasies are fulfilled, the four classmates will end up learning a great deal about themselves and each other on the path to forging a summer that they’ll never forget.
Plot/Summary :-
At a Shinto shrine in Shimoda, there is a large rock. It is said that if four close friends gather around the rock and all wish for the same thing, that wish will come true. As four friends, Natsumi, Saki, Yuka and Rinko, gather around the rock like they used to in their childhood, they soon find the rock can indeed grant people's wishes. With only a short amount of time before Saki is due to transfer schools, the girls spend a summer filled with magic.

I watch all kinds of anime; from the well-known “mainstream” anime series to the more lesser known “underground” ones. I watch everything from horror to ecchi, but the one genre that I have learnt to love the most is slice-of-life. I have already written quite a few reviews on slice-of-life series and here is another one that many anime watchers looked down on.
Natsuiro Kiseki revolves around four high school friends, Natsumi, Saki, Yuka and Rinko and a large rock situated in the middle of a Shinto Shrine; a magical rock that, when four close friends wish for the same thing, turn the wishes into reality. The story revolves around the many adventures (as well as misadventures) of the four friends as they move closer and closer to each others heart as inseparable friends.
Although the series is a slice-of-life anime, Natsuiro Kiseki contains proper plots and story, as well as back stories of characters. Unlike other comedy-only slice-of-life anime series like Daily Lives of High School Boys and Nichijou, this series contains drama and plot development; many fans have commented on the series similarity to that of P.A. Works’ Hanasaku Iroha.
Conclusion :-
The series is a feel good series but sometimes lacks in story and plot development. Although there are some flaws in the overall execution in the character development and drama parts, it is still a nice, feel good anime to watch if you have the time. The OVA and opening is also pretty sweet, s check those out if you can as well.
Recommendation :-
Of course -, Its an School, Slice of Life anime.
My rcommendation is 8/10.
