Introduction:-
Love, Election and Chocolate follows the protagonist “Yūki Ōjima”, who attends Takafuji Private Academy a large school with over 6,000 students. Yūki is a member of the Food Research Club along with seven others, including his childhood friend “Chisato Sumiyoshi”. The members leisurely spend their time in the club not doing much activities. When the election of the next student council president comes up, the front runner Satsuki Shinonome proposes that clubs that have no merit should be sorted out and abolished. The Food Research Club seeks advice from the current student council president Yakumo Mōri, who suggests Yūki run in the election as an opposing candidate. “Yūki” learns about the issues facing the school and decides to run in the election.
Plot/Summary :-
In Japan, participation in extra-curricular activities is as fundamental a part of an education as chalk and gym shorts. However, not all students are overachievers, and for those like Yuki Ojima, groups like the Food Research Club are welcome havens in which to slack-off. But what's a slacker to do when the radical new candidate for Student Council president announces her intent to get rid of clubs like the FRC? Well, getting the help of the current Student Council president is a good start, but HIS suggestion is so counter-intuitive that it's crazy: Yuki should run for the “Student Council” himself? And yet, it's SO crazy that it just might work! Especially when Chisato, the chocolate-adverse president of the FRC (and Yuki's best childhood friend,) and members of other targeted school clubs start to join the swelling FRC army. But can this army of goofs and goof-offs coast all the way to political victory? Or will someone have to step up to the plate and take one for the team?
Quotes :-
“A romantic love story with chocolates and…politics?!”

Story :-
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate started out with something like a comedy but in the later episodes it starts to develop a story. It is about a Boy and Girl and some other schoolmates as they chat and laugh together in a club. It is something like Haruhi Suzumiya and Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai. However more similar to Haruhi as Koi Choco has a somewhat deeper story behind it.
Isn’t it just so handy when the title of the anime basically explains the overall plot of the story? I mean, there aren’t a lot of them. But when they appear it makes writing a review so much more easier. Anyways, I just wanted to say that before we began this review, because of course it applies to this particular series right here. And if you’re aware of this series then you’ll be well aware that this is not just any romance stories. No… in fact, this is a very unique love story. Very unique indeed.
Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate (lit. Love, Elections and Chocolate) revolves around Ojima Yuuki and his time at Takafuji Private Academy, where every year a full-on election campaign is held to select the new student council for the year. Ojima is part of the Food Research Club, spending his time eating food with his fellow clubmates. However, the yearly election rolls near, and Ojima receives news of the new manifest that states all clubs that show no merit be abolished; the Food Research Club being at the top of the list. Ojima realises that the only way to save the beloved Food Research Club is to join in on the election and become the new student council, in doing so changing the rules and doing something about the many issues that are present within the Academy.

Conclusion :-
While I was watching this series during its airing period, I noticed many people were digging this series due to the fact that Sphere managed to incorporate politics with romance; two genres that should not go together, ever. But on the contrary, many people (including myself) enjoyed the unique blend of genres and it really helped to move the plot forward. If you fancy a new kind of romance/harem story, then give this series a go. You won’t be disappointed.
Recommendation :-
Of course -, Its an Romance, School anime.
My rcommendation is 9/10.
I strongly recommend it for Romance, School lover.
