In K-On! in an unspecified part of Japan, four Japanese high school girls join the light music club of the all-girls private Sakuragaoka High School to try to save it from being disbanded. However, they are the only members of the club. At first, Yui Hirasawa has no experience playing musical instruments or reading sheet music, but she eventually becomes an excellent guitar player. From then on, Yui, along with bassist Mio Akiyama, drummer Ritsu Tainaka, and keyboardist Tsumugi Kotobuki spend their school days practicing, performing, and hanging out together. The club is overseen by music teacher Sawako Yamanaka who eventually becomes their homeroom teacher as well during their final year of high school. In their second year, the club welcomes another guitarist, underclassman Azusa Nakano. After Azusa joins they gain more structure and begin to practice more.
Plot/Summary :-
Hirasawa Yui, a young, carefree girl entering high school, has her imagination instantly captured when she sees a poster advertising the "Light Music Club." Being the carefree girl that she is, she quickly signs up; however, Yui has a problem, she is unable to play an instrument.
When Yui goes to the clubroom to explain, she's greeted by the other members: Ritsu, Mio, and Tsumugi. Although disheartened at Yui's lack of musical know-how, they still try to convince her to stay to prevent the club's disbandment. After playing Yui a short piece which re-ignites her imagination, they succeed in keeping their new member and guitarist.
Quotes :-
“A high-energy, uplifting, feel-good musical slice-of-life anime for all ages”

Story :-
. K-ON! follows the tried and true formula of cute girls doing cute things. Based on a 4-koma comic, the series is about several high school girls who form (technically join, but all the previous members graduated) a light music club and follows their activities. The music itself often takes a back seat to the antics of the girls, and audiophiles may find themselves somewhat disappointed if they go in expecting detailed attention to techniques or references to real life bands (there are a couple, but few and far between). There are two concerts in the thirteen episode series, but neither is as impressive as the one from the Live A Live episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (one of Kyoto Animation's earlier shows), but still very enjoyable. The most common scene in the series features the main girls sitting in the club room snacking on tea and cakes while discussing various mundane events, particularly with the more dedicated girls trying to get the rest to practice.
The girls all have their own distinct personality. Yui, the main character, is the some clumsy and adorable airhead. She joined the club hoping to play an easy instrument like the castanets but ends up playing guitar because the club needed a guitarist. Ritsu is the energetic idiot of the show, drummer, and club president because she was the one who dragged everyone else into the club. Mio is Ritsu's long time friend, and the sensible, serious one of the group. She writes the groups songs, and plays the bass. She is also the most moe character, being the prettiest, easily embarrassed, and terrified of ghosts and yucky things. Mugi is the pianist. She comes from a wealthy family, and thus is a source of amusement by displaying the difference in wealth between rich people and normal people. She is also the provider of the tea and sweets that are regularly consumed at the club meetings.
Now, if you consider a true anime fan, I don’t even need to go into the details about this anime. Because you should be well, well aware about this anime. K-ON! is considered one of the few anime series that has shaped modern anime in the western world, receiving huge attention in both Japan and other countries all over the world from its characters, plot and especially the music.
K-ON! revolves around 4 schoolgirls (from left to right: Mio, Tsumugi, Ritsu and Yui) who start a club called the “Light Music Club”. The anime focuses on character development and daily routines around the Light Music Club, as the girls share their strong passion for music and begin to realize that their lives are changing from the music that they play.
Originally a yonkoma (4 panel) manga, it quickly gained fame and recognition in Japan and later in America through its comedic characters and its peaceful slice-of-life feel. The soundtrack to the anime is considered to be one the very best; many character albums and songs being released since the airing of the first series. Now famous voice-actors such as Aki Toyosaki (Yui in K-ON, Medaka in Medaka Box, Momo in To-LOVE–ru) and Yoko Hikasa (Mio in K-ON, Sakura in Code:Breaker, Rias in Highschool DxD) gained their fame in this anime through their voice acting and singing.

Conclusion :-
K-ON, in my books is up there with an anime that is more heartwarming than funny; although the comedic elements are hilarious in itself, the series delivers a strangely heart-warming feel that will leave you smiling after every episode. As an anime fan, this is one that you should most definitely watch. Evn if you’re not into music, or you’re not really into your slice-of-life anime’s, K-ON! will surely leave you feeling fuwa fuwa inside.
Recommendation :-
Of course -, Its an Music, Schoolanime.
My rcommendation is 8/10.
I strongly recommend it for Music, School lover.
