Introduction:-
Chaos;Head follows Takumi Nishijou, a high school student living in a cargo crate atop a building in Shibuya, Tokyo. One day, he is sent pictures over the internet, depicting a murder in an alley; he later witnesses a murder resembling the one in the pictures, and believes the killer to be a pink-haired girl he sees at the crime scene.Because of his presence at the scene of the crime, he is suspected of being the murderer, and starts suffering from paranoia and experiencing delusions.More murders – referred to as the New Generation serial murders – occur, while Takumi meets a number of girls who have an interest in him, but who he suspects of being linked to the murders. One of them is the pink-haired girl, named Rimi, who claims to be friends with him despite him not having any previous memory of her.
Plot/Summary :-
Shibuya, Japan, 2008. Takumi Nishijou, a high school student at the Private Suimei Academy, one day hears about the 'New Gen' murders that have been occurring around the city. Although dismissing the subject because it doesn't involve him, Takumi begins to experience strange mishaps around him, from a horrific picture he received while on his PC, to a mysterious Pink-Haired girl standing at a murder scene.
From there on Takumi struggles to cope with the events unfolding around him, and is soon unaware of what is real or a delusion. As his fate opens up before him, the perpetrator behind the 'New Gen' events attempts to find him, leading him into a world where nothing is as it seems.
Quotes :-
“A crazy psychological thriller that will mess up your mind completely!“
“A wide range of characters and overall character development is cleverly melded into the twisted storyline“.

Story :-
I went into viewing ChäoS;HEAd without a great deal of expectations. Having read through many of the reviews and hearing some firsthand accounts on it I got the impression that it was going to be an average at best experience. However this was a show that I had been very interested in seeing since it started airing. For me it’s a great example of not believing everything you hear.
The story starts out as a pretty interesting mystery involving a number of grisly murders and a high school boy who believes he has witnessed one of them and is being fed information about future killings before they happen. The boy is Takumi, a severely disturbed and socially awkward individual who is terrorized by delusions and paranoia. The plot feels genuinely creepy at times but doesn’t manage to sustain this over the course of the entire series. Because of Takumi's delusions the viewer is not always sure what is real or what isn’t. It does take some significant detours and while it’s not the smartest thing I have ever seen, in my opinion it managed to be interesting through the end. However one might feel about how the story changed focus over the course of the show, I did feel that it ended very nicely with most of the loose ends tied off.

You may or may not have heard about this series before, but if you have then you will know quite well that it is just… awesome. It`s fame rose with the release of the well-acclaimed series Steins;Gate, written by 5pb. and Nitroplus. Although there is no exact connection between the two series (both series having totally different characters and plot), many fans believe that Steins;Gate is the sequel to Chaos;Head. Anyway, let`s get on with the review, shall we?
Chaos;Head revolves around Nishijou Takumi; an hikikomori (withdrawn) who is only interested in 2D things. One day, while talking in a private chat room to his friends, he meets a user called Shogun. At first Takumi is confused by his cryptic talk and messages but when Shogun leaves the chat room by sending Takumi a picture of a brutal murder scene, Takumi starts to worry. The next day, Takumi witnesses a brutal murder scene; the same scene that Shogun sent to him the day before. There, he meets a pink haired girl who seems to have just killed the man. While Shogun continues to send brutal murder scenes, Takumi tries to distance himself from the many murder cases that are happening in the area, but is soon caught interest n by the police. Takumi then starts to experience delusions and paranoia, later meeting other girls who are connected to the murders. Unsure of what is real and who/what to trust, Takumi starts to slowly breakdown psychologically. While this is happening, a secret organisation NOZOMI is plotting something in the shadows.
If you have read up to here and are thinking to yourself, “I did not get a single word of what that gibberish meant”, then I don`t blame you; the thing with Chaos;Head (and in fact all works by 5pb. and Nitroplus) is that they have seriously confusing plots and storyline. I tried my very best to give you guys an accurate synopsis without giving too much away, but it is very difficult to do with such a confusing story. In fact, after watching the entire 12 episodes, there are many areas that still confuse me to this day (kind of like how the main character at the end of Air turns into a crow, but that`s another story…)
There are a few notable voice actors that make an appearance in this series, including Hiroyuki Yoshino who voices Takumi (as well as Alleluyah in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and Sugisaki Shin in Chibi Devi!) and Eri Kitamura who voices Rimi Sakihata (as well as Yui from Angel Beats! and Kawashima Ami from ToraDora!). The series was animated by the well-acclaimed Madhouse Studios (who has done such notable works as Trigun, Summer Wars andNinja Scroll).

Conclusion :-
Like I said, if you want to know the full story, it is best to watch this series more than once. This is one of those series that one cannot fully understand in one sitting and requires detailed analysis of plot, characters and what the hell is going on in general. Although it may be confusing (and personally not as good as Steins;Gate), the story is very clever; combining the very best of psychological thriller (the Japanese are very good at these) supernatural and even cyberpunk elements to create this beautiful series that, as the title says, will cause chaos in your head.
Recommendation :-
Of course -, Its an amazing anime.
My rcommendation is ./10.
I strongly recommend it for Psychological lover.
