Introduction:-
Ema Hinata's lonely life takes a new and exciting turn when her single father Rintarou Hinata, a famous adventurer, falls in love and marries Miwa Asahina, an apparel maker. In order to give the newly-wed couple space, Ema starts living with her new step-brothers in a mansion called Sunrise Residence and for the first time, experiences being part of a lively and big family. She finally feels safe and content.

Plot/Summary :-
Ema Hinata (or later known as Ema Asahina) is the daughter of the famous expat, Rintaro Hinata. One day, Ema finds out that her dad is going to remarry a successful clothing maker named Miwa Asahina. Rather than bothering them, she decides to move into the Sunrise Residence complex that is owned by Miwa. From there, she discovers that she has 13 stepbrothers. As time moves on, her stepbrothers develop feelings for her and compete in ways to win her heart when all Ema wants to have is a loving family.
Quotes :-
"This is why idiots who can't understand jokes are trouble. But you trust each other more than I thought."
"What I like, I take. I don't need your permission."

Story :-
We see a lot of harem anime series; where there is one male protagonist being surrounded by many girls who have feelings for him. But not often in anime do we find anime series that are reverse harems; where there is one female protagonist with many male characters who have feelings for her. Well, here is a reverse harem anime that takes the genre to the next level.
Brothers Conflict revolves around Hinata Ema, a high school girl who gets adopted into the Asahina family after her father decides to remarry into the Asahina family. She then decides to move into the Asahina residence, where she discovers that she has a total of 13 step-brothers. As they get to know each other, there is a movement within the brothers, as many start to fall for their new sister. What will happen to Ema and the many conflicts she is faced with her brothers?
The reason why I gave the story a 4/10 is because it is a very mainstream anime and not a lot happens, it is all centered around one question which is: who gets the girl? which is exactly the point of a reverse harem. The odd thing that bothers me is that each time you see one of the brothers on screen with Ema they either hug her or kiss her or in the very least touch her and after all that happened she just carries on with her day like nothing of the sorts happened though she consiously knows how all of them feel about her but it just seems like she shrugs it off like it is an everyday thing. Although she proclaims to only want to be 'siblings' with her brothers she gradually allows any of the guys to kiss her and do anything with her as they please.
From episode 1 she knows that they aren't really her siblings since her dad married their mother so technically non of them are related by blood only they are legally a family on paper. Eventhough she knows this she still continues to call them her 'siblings' which is disturbing since the fact that almost everyone of them want to have a romantic relationship with our main character Ema. Everytime she called them her siblings I found myself yelling at the screen 'You aren't siblings! realize that!'
Art: 7/10 the art is basically the save and grace for this anime, the animation is beautiful and fluent, the backgrounds are spendidly done and of course the originality of each character is beautifully portrait. Each one of the brothers are easy to recognize by either hair style/hair color and the color of their eyes. The only downside I have on the art is that the emotions aren't easily recognizable on their faces. Even when they are happy they are very mediocre about it.

The anime contains for 12 episodes, running during the Summer 2013 Anime Season (July 2013 – September 2013, finishing today at the time of this writing). Although many people think the anime is based off a game (like many reverse harem series), this series is originally based off a novel series written by Mizuno Takeshi. The series then spawned many games from which it became famous for. The series is animated by Brain’s Base Studios, who have given us such anime series as Durarara!!, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and reverse harem series like Amnesia.
As there are many characters that make an appearance in this anime (13 brothers + main character), there are obviously many voice actors as well. Interestingly, all the voice actors that play the brothers are also the same voice actors in the game. Some of those voice actors include Suwabe Junichi who voices Kaname (and is also known as the voices of Grimmjow Jeagerjaques from BLEACH and Vergo from One Piece), Hirakawa Daisuke who voices of Ukyou (and is also known as the voices of Ito Makoto from School Days and Rei from Free!) and Okamoto Nobuhiko who voices Hikaru (and is also known as the voices of Ogami Rei from Code:Breaker and Okumura Rin from Ao no Exorcist).

Conclusion :-
I’m going to be honest here; as I am not part of the female population, I am in no way a fan of the reverse harem genre (I much prefer to watch a harem genre than anything). So straight off the bat, this wasn’t a great series to watch for me. But I won’t be too harsh on this series because of that. Some negative points I found in this anime include some characters getting little to no character development and the lack of common sense found in the main character. But at least the series ended quite nicely, with no cliffhangers or sense of rush. If you like your reverse harem series, then I guess this one is for you, but that’s all I’m going to say for now.
Recommendation :-
Of course -, Its an good anime.
My rcommendation is 8.5/10.
I strongly recommend it for Shoujo lover.
