Introduction:-
Staz Charlie Blood is a powerful vampire who rules the Eastern district of Demon World. According to rumors, he is a bloodthirsty and merciless monster, but in reality, Staz is just an otaku obsessed with Japanese culture and completely uninterested in human blood. Leaving the management of his territory to his underlings, Staz spends his days lazing around, indulging in anime, manga, and games.
When Fuyumi Yanagi, a Japanese girl, accidentally wanders through a portal leading into the demon world, Staz is overjoyed. But just as he is starting to feel an unusual attraction to her, his territory is attacked, resulting in Fuyumi's untimely death. She turns into a wandering ghost and the crestfallen Staz vows to resurrect her as this would mean being able to travel to the human world, something he has always dreamed of.

Plot/Summary :-
Staz is a powerful vampire boss of a territory in the Demon World. Unlike his vampire ancestors, he prefers not to prey on humans, and would rather indulge in their Japanese otaku lifestyle of reading manga, watching anime, and playing video games. One day, he becomes excited when Fuyumi Yanagi, an ordinary Japanese high school girl, accidentally wanders into the Demon World through a portal. The two's first meeting is cut short by the attack of a demon who challenges his territory. When Staz goes to stop the demon, Fuyumi is killed by a carnivorous plant and turned into a ghost. Staz takes responsibility and pledges to help bring her back to life. When they take the portal, they learn that Fuyumi needs to drink Staz's blood in order to not fade away. They meet Hydra Bell, a treasure hunter who reveals that her ability to open and close the portal was stolen, and that in order to restore Fuyumi they need the Book of Resurrection.
Quotes :-
“The ones who do what they want and enjoy the most of their lives are the ones who win in the end”. -Staz Charlie Blood.
“I love stuff by humans. Especially the ones from Japan. They have my total respect.”

Story :-
In this day of age, vampire themed anime series are not that uncommon. We have all sorts of vampire/fantasy series, ranging from very serious (and scary) to complete absurd. But this vampire fantasy takes the best of both worlds and spits out something that is both hilarious and awesome all at the same time. Vampire may never be this badass and hilarious ever again!
Blood Lad revolves around Staz; a vampire living in the Demon World who is in love with Japanese culture – mainly, the Japanese otaku culture. In his room full of manga, anime and other otaku related materials, he dreams of one day meeting a real life Japanese girl. One day, his wish comes true when Fuyumi accidentally stumbles into the Demon World. Unfortunately, right after she meets Staz she is killed by a carnivorous plant and subsequently turns into a ghost. It is now Staz’s responsibility to turn her back into a human and in turn, make his dream fully come true.
Vampires are overrated these days. The idea of them being in anime series isn't a new concept either. In fact, there's plenty of them already like Vampire Knight, Shiki, Rosario + Vampire, etc. Most of them involves some sort of strange faithful day event when the vampire gets caught up with a human in their world and then certain twists come that ties them to some sort of relationship. Only this time, it's a little a bit different. In Blood Lad, the vampire actually wants to help the human. Rather than treating them as a slave or food, this series takes a twist as our vampiric friend Vlad Charlie Staz embarks on a journey to restore a human back to their mortal selves after a tragic event. (by tragic, I mean as in getting eaten alive)
Blood Lad is an anime adapted series based off the manga of the same name written by Yuuki Kodama. The series takes the vampire theme idea and twists it into a humorous tale. That's because our otaku friend Staz has never met a human girl before. So, what happens when a young, pretty, and shy Japanese girl accidentally wonders into his territory? All hell breaks loose. Or rather for Staz, it's like the dream of a life time. After all, he's never met a human before. More so, Fuyumi Yanagi happens to be a girl with a Japanese background. It's a fun journey and one hell of a ride, for both our main characters.

The anime contains 10 episodes (+ 1 OVA in December) and ran during the Summer 2013 Anime Season (July 2013 – September 2013, ending today at the time of writing). The anime is based off a manga serialization of the same name. The series is animated by Brain’s Base Studios, who have been responsible for such critically acclaimed series as Durarara!!, Baccano! and Natsume Yuujinchou.
The anime contains some well-known voice actors including Nomizu Iori who voices Fuyumi (and is also known as the voices of Haruna from Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? and Yoshino from Date A Live), Terashima Takuma who voices Wolf (and is also known as the voices of Aoki Yoshifumi from Kokoro Connect and Mugai from Mushibugyou) and Kimura Ryouhei who voices Braz (and is also known as the voices of Hasegawa Kodaka from Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai and Yashio Kaito from Robotics;Notes).

Conclusion :-
Although the anime was very entertaining while it lasted, many viewers complained about its rather abrupt end, leaving the viewers with a large cliffhanger and the introduction of a new arc in the series. I’m quite surprised that this anime didn’t end up with 24 episodes, let alone 12-13 episodes, considering that the anime was doing quite well popularity wise. While many believe (and/or hope) that there will be a season 2, we are still unaware of this ever happening. But, if you enjoy your fantasy anime with badass vampires, then this anime is a must try. You will definitely laugh out loud in at least one episode. And you’re sure to love all the characters by the end of it.
Recommendation :-
Of course -, Its an bloodbad anime.
My rcommendation is 8.5/10.
I strongly recommend it for Bloody lover.
