Introduction :-
In 1972, a popular student in Yomiyama North Middle School's class 3-3 named Misaki passed away during the school year. Since then, the town of Yomiyama has been shrouded by a fearful atmosphere, from the dark secrets hidden deep within.
Plot/Summary :-
Since Misaki passed away then after Twenty-six years later, 15-year-old Kouichi Sakakibara transfers into class 3-3 of Yomiyama North and soon after discovers that a strange, gloomy mood seems to hang over all the students. He also finds himself drawn to the mysterious, eyepatch-wearing student Mei Misaki; however, the rest of the class and the teachers seem to treat her like she doesn't exist. Paying no heed to warnings from everyone including Mei herself, Kouichi begins to get closer not only to her, but also to the truth behind the gruesome phenomenon plaguing class 3-3 of Yomiyama North.

Story :-
I do like horror animes and have enjoyed most horror anime series that I have watched/found. This series is the one of the best collection to my horror anime series list, and I must say that it is more quite creepy than it is scary.
Another revolves around a schoolboy called Koichi Sakakubara who moves to a town called Yomikita. Yomikita is famous for what is known as “cursed class of 3-3”; an event that happened 15 years ago in which a young school girl called Misaki suddenly dies, but because the class at the time were so devastated by the loss that they decided that she “wasn’t in fact dead”, and continued on as if she was still alive ad part of the class. Now 15 years on, Koichi is transferred into the class 3-3 where she meets a strange girl with a bandage on her eye called Mei Misaki. While being naturally attracted to her, Koichi sees that she is being ignored by all of her classmates. As Koichi gets closer to Mei, the students of class 3-3 are all caught up in a series of unfortunate events in which the students start to die in mysterious events and accidents. Now Koichi and Mei must try to uncover the cause of this strange epidemic and ut a stop to the deaths before it is too late.
The anime has one scary violence sences and rally amazing.
I can’t say a whole lot without spoiling the series, but I will say this: as predictable as you will probably think it is, the ending will throw you for a loop. They even recap for you, showing all of the proof from the previous episodes and it will blow your mind because it’s at that moment that you realize the pieces were all there the whole time. How it all came together at the end was fantastic.
Now, the anime viewers with a wide viewing range might look at the character design and wonder why it seems so familiar to them. This is most likely because the Animation Studio that has done this series is none other than P.A. Works (notable series by P.A. Works include True Tears, Angel Beats! and Hanasaku Iroha) and because the studio tends to use similar artstyles in all of their works, viewers might recognize the artworks from earlier series. On an interesting note, Another is the first attempt at a horror series by P.A. Works; prior to this, they tended to animate slice-of-life, romantic comedy and drama series. It is quite nice to see a change in genre by these guys and I must say that they did an excellent job first go.
The character design and animation style both are top notch. Clean, sharp, and crisp. Nicely done here by P.A. Works. The opening fits the theme of this series perfectly. I couldn’t ask for anything better. The ending theme is up for debate. I personally didn’t care much for it, but let’s not make that the focus here.
The actual ending itself, however, left a sour taste in my mouth for some reason. Not the solution to the mystery, not how it pieced together, but the aftermath. In other words, the epilogue is what sort of made me rethink a few things. If you do pick up this series and watch it to the end, you may or may not understand what I mean, because it’s hard to explain.
There are some points in the series where the pacing really seems to slow down. The reason I mention this as if to say it’s a problem is mainly because the audience can lose interest when nothing is happening. I found myself dozing off a few times during a couple episodes, and next thing I know, stuff is going down and I totally missed everything leading up to it. Obviously, I had to rewatch those episodes but even fully awake, some parts felt like the longest 23 minutes ever.
Conclusion :-
All in all, if you like your horror anime series, then Another is the perfect series for you. Although it only spanned 12 episodes, the overall execution and plot overlay were fantastically done, and this series deserves a lot more attention.
If you likes psychological, gore, horror/mystery genre. If you like more serious shows that take themselves seriously, look no further this is what you looking for.
Recommendation :-
Of course yes, Its an amazing anime.
My rcommendation is 8./10.
I strongly recommend it for horror, psychological , mystery lover.
