Introduction:-
Strawberry 100% chronicles the school years of Junpei Manaka, a student and aspiring movie director, and his relationships with the girls that enter his life. At the start of the series, he encounters a mysterious and beautiful girl on the roof of his middle school, but does not remember anything about her other than that she wears strawberry-print panties. She leaves before he can talk to her, but he finds a notebook nearby, belonging to Aya Toujou, an ordinary-looking glasses-wearing girl who is a gifted writer. The two become friends with the common ambition of turning great stories into movies. Thinking that Tsukasa Nishino, the most popular girl in his school, might be the mystery girl, he asks her out in a bold confession at the chin-up bar, and is surprised when she accepts. He later realizes Tsukasa is not the mystery girl but chooses to continue their relationship anyway. He places into Izumizaka High, but learns that Aya has given up an offer to the prestigious Oumi Academy to attend Izumizaka with him and that she is the mystery girl.
Plot/Summary :-
One day, Manaka Junpei walks to the roof of his school and encounters a beautiful girl falling down from above him and accidentally exposing her strawberry panties. The embarrassed girl runs away before Junpei can find out whom she is. He wishes to become a filmmaker, and this whole experience seemed like it would make the perfect scene in a movie. And so he goes on a search for the girl with the strawberry panties in order to reenact it all on film. But he will soon discover that finding that one girl will not be that easy...

Story :-
Junpei Manaka is a high school boy whose dream is to make movies. One day Junpei goes to the rooftop and a girl falls over him and the first thing he sees it’s her underwear of strawberries, he has a glimpse of her face and he can’t say a word, he stares at her. She leaves and Junpei realizes she left a notebook and decides to know who she is to give the notebook back to her. Frustrated by not getting any clue of which that girl can be he’s challenged by his friends to ask out a girl called Tuskasa Nishino. He asks Tsukasa to go out doing exercises, she finds it funny and accepts. Everything goes right in the relationship for some time until one day, they tell him the owner of the notebook is a girl called Aya Toujou, the best student of the high school. Attracted by his skills in writing and in the need of help in some subjects he asks Aya to help him. During a study session, Junpei realizes he likes her because she’s a bit shy, kind, intelligent and because of her skills to write. From that moment he won’t know which girl is better for him. Impressive, right?
In his new school he makes a movie club with some of friends including Aya. During this new period he’ll meet a girl called Satsuki Kitaouji, she’s pretty and brave, something he likes and falls in love with her. Later he realizes he’s really in love with Aya too, and he’s still in love with Nishino and he can’t decide who he likes. That’s all the anime. Yes, it’s sounds non-sense because it is.
From the first time you realize this anime is not a big budget one just by seeing the opening, it’s was easy to make and the song is one of those you won’t remember. The same happens with the ending except the song it’s better. The animation of this anime is dull, not complicated, is like made by anime students.
If you’re an avid manga reader or anime watcher such as myself, you know that there are those romantic comedies that leaves your heart racing, or as they would call it in Japanese, “doki-doki”? Every anime watcher and every manga reader, whether you’re male, female, young or old, love to read at least a few romance series every now and then. Now, some people may say that romance series are all the same; the main protagonist or heroine falls in love or is loved by someone and has to choose between her love or her friends, or some sh*t like that. Well, yes that is true. But the way the story is presented can be the key between a cr*p series, and a series that draws you in, such as this one series that I am about to review.
Ichigo 100% (or Strawberry 100% as it is called everywhere else) revolves around Manaka Jyunpei, who lives the dreams of becoming a film producer, meets a girl with strawberry panties up on the school rooftop. Quickly being intrigued by this girl, he starts to look for her but is unable to. He believes that the person may be Nishino Tsukasa, the most popular girl in school. His only clue is a notebook with the name Toujyou Aya printed on it; Manaka discovers that Toujyou is an acclaimed writer and soon starts a Film Club. As he meets new members and friends, his feelings begin to switch around as the girls around him start to have feelings for him. Whilst maintaining his goals and ambitions, Jyunpei gets involved in a complicated web of relationships and romance.
Conclusion :-
Personally, I have been a huge fan of Ichigo 100% since the manga first came out (I used to read Shounen Jump every week when I was younger) and I have read almost all works by Kawashita Mizuki (another good series by her is Hatsukoi Limited, which I will write a review for soon). This is probably one of my favourite harem romance series (along with To LOVE-ru and Mahou Sensei Negima!) that I have both read and watched. I highly recommend this series if you love your romance anime and manga.
