Introduction:-

NEVER make a deal with a wet goddess you've only just met. That's a lesson Ryosuke Kaga learns the hard way when he foolishly agrees to let Lisara Restole use some of his "essence" to stay in this world. Because despite her smoking hot appearance, Lisara's actually a Shinigami, a Goddess of Death. However, she DOESN'T steal years off his life like any decent Shinigami would do. Oh no, instead she sucks him dry of something much more perverse by leeching off his lecherous spirit and draining his ability to enjoy... er... the things that teenage boys normally spend most of their time thinking about! And now that he's been de-debased and de-debauched by her un-dirty trick, the poor regenerated degenerate's only hope of getting his licentiousness renewed is to join the queen of mental-clean on her quest, since when she leaves our mortal plane he regains his normal immorality! But the termination of the probation of his reprobation isn't guaranteed, because Goddesses of Death can be really harsh mistresses and it's going to be anything but easy to go back to being sleazy

Plot/Summary :-

One day, Ryosuke Kaga, a high school boy attending Momozomo Academy meets a girl standing alone in the rain. Introducing herself as Lisara Restall, an elite Grim Reaper, she visited the human world in order to find "The Singular Man". Ryosuke makes a contract with Lisara, while sucking energy required for her activity in the human world from Ryosuke. The source of the energy is his lecherous spirit. To preserve his life, Ryosuke has no choice but to help in Lisara's search.

Quotes :-

Story :-

If you’re a fan of ecchi genred anime (in which case, I’m assuming you’re either male or just genuinly like the genre), then you know you’re going to love a series that has the word “ecchi” clearly written in the title. Yes, there is ecchi involved in this series, but that’s not the entire picture. In fact, this series is awesome for its story; the ecchi elements and visuals being “a bonus” to loyal viewers such as myself (I’m not going to deny it. I am male after all…)

Dakara Boku wa, Ecchi ga Dekinai. (lit. That’s why I can’t have sex. – This title was changed in English to “So, I Can’t Play H?” for obvious reasons (although I have no idea where they managed to get this title from; for one thing it makes no sense whatsoever…but whatever)) revolves around Kaga Ryousuke; a perverted high school student who lives off perverted thoughts and fantasies. One day, he meets a girl in front of her house on a rainy day. Feeling sorry for the girl, he lets her in; only to be stabbed in the chest by a sword the girl was carrying around with her. The girl’s name is Lisara Restall, a grim reaper who is looking for “The Singular Man”. Ryousuke decides to make a contract with her and give her his life energy and to help her look for this “Singular Man” in order to maintain his announced short life.

Boku-H is a perfect example of what ecchi harem shows are about, and in this review, I am here to explain why our standards of appreciation must be adjusted to account for what actually makes these types of shows enjoyable.

By the normal standards of grading entertainment, we usually define quality entertainment as intelligent in some way. Intelligent design for entertainment usually is produced through a well-thought out story and an interesting cast that has thought provoking development. Naturally, it is very easy to dismiss Boku-H as being a mediocre show when it does in fact have an uninspired story that feels rushed andconfusing at its worst moments. Nobody is surprised by the usual boy meets fantasy girl who gets boy into sexy action packed adventures. I will be the first person to admit that the story is nothing special by any means.

The other point of appreciation for most entertainment also includes its physical quality, or essentially its sound and art. Boku-H again would be easily considered unremarkable for the most part in this area. The soundtrack, while not awful, is relatively shallow and repetitive. The animations are also not the most smooth, and heavily reliant on CG to fill in the gaps. This can be forgiven however given the nature of this particular show is ecchi. While the rest of the show looks unremarkable, the show does its job of providing appealing scenes featuring its female cast nude in various situations. If you are looking for an erotic anime, the nude scenes overall do not disappoint.

So far, it sounds like I'm saying that this show is overall a mediocre lump of fanservice. Well, you would almost be right. Because the thing I haven't yet explained is the REAL reason you should be watching this show. If not story and art quality, what have I not yet covered? Characters.

The series contains 12 episodes and aired during the Summer 2012 anime season (July 2012 – September 2012). The series is animated by Studio feel., who specialise in fan-service/ecchi genred series and brought us such series as Yosuga no SoraMayo Chiki! and Kissxsis. The series is originally based off a light novel series, serialised by Fujimi Shobo.

There are a few notable voice actors that make an appearance in this series, including Shimono Hiro who voices Ryousuke (and is also known as the voices of Yoshii Akihisa from Baka to Test to Shoukanjyuu and Katsuragi Keima from The World God Only Knows) and Endo Aya who voices Risara (and is also known as the voices Sheryl from Macross Frontier and Miyuki from Lucky Star).

Conclusion :-

Although this series has the word “ecchi” clearly labelled in the title (and uses an extensive amount of ecchi elements and visuals), I can honestly say that I continued to watch this series until the very end based on the plot and execution. The story itself was very unique, and the series could have easily being watched without the ecchi elements. But that doesn’t mean to say that the ecchi elements were bad! I mean come on… if you’re a true male, and the series has ecchi elements in it, you honestly can’t complain, can you? All in all, I recommend this series for you ecchi lovers and if you genuinely like your fantasy/romance genre too.

Recommendation :-

Of course -,  Its an ecchi anime.

My rcommendation is 7/10.

I strongly recommend it for h lover.
