Introduction:-

Yūta Togashi is a boy who, during junior high school, suffered from "chūnibyō" (called "eighth grader syndrome" in the English dub), believing that he possessed supernatural powers and calling himself the "Dark Flame Master", therefore alienating himself from his classmates. Finding his past embarrassing, Yūta attempts to start off high school where he does not know anyone, free from his old delusions. This proves to be difficult, however, as a delusional girl in his class, Rikka Takanashi, learns of Yūta's past and becomes interested in him.

Plot/Summary :-

Everybody has had that stage in their life where they have thought themselves to be special, different from the masses of ordinary humans. They might go as far as seeing themselves capable of wielding mystical powers, or maybe even believe themselves to have descended from a fantasy realm. This "disease" is known as "chuunibyou" and is often the source of some of the most embarrassing moments of a person's life.

For Yuuta Togashi, the scars that his chuunibyou has left behind are still fresh. Having posed as the "Dark Flame Master" during his middle school years, he looks back at those times with extreme embarrassment, so much so that he decides to attend a high school far away where nobody will recognize him. Putting his dark history behind him, he longs to live a normal high school life.

Quotes :-

“Get ready for a melding mash-up of cute, fantasy and imagination!”

Story :-

Growing up is not an easy process, and there are always moments that one looks back upon with a sense of embarrassment and regret. One might ask what it is that truly marks the transition into adulthood: the ability to live independently, or maybe the conformity and adherence to social norms. Are the people who remain true to their childhood interests not grown up, then? Perhaps. But is there anything wrong with that? It's hard to say.

There's a strange term used in Japanese internet culture. "Chuunibyou", or more literally "Eighth-Grade Syndrome", refers to matured individuals with an absurd self-created persona. Remember the times as a child when there was a TV character you found appealing and you pretended to possess their superhuman abilities in real-life? A chuunibyou is a teenage or adult form of that, but to such an extent that the fictional persona defines their entire lifestyle. Certainly, behaving this way in public would make for some embarrassment, and recovering from such a past even more so.

What do you get when you cross a cute schoolgirl with a wild imagination? You get awesomeness, that’s what! And that’s the only way that I can ever hope to describe this series in a nutshell. But you might think what could be so entertaining from watching a cute anime character with ‘a wild imagination’? Well, this is no ordinary wild imagination that we’re talking about here.

Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! revolves around Togashi Yuuta, a high school student with an embarrassing past. He has experienced what the Japanese call “Chuunibyou” (lit. 8th-Grader Syndrome), where from the 8th grade, students start to experiment with new hobbies and get influenced in fantastical things. Yuuta is a typical case, where he pretended he was a mystical warrior called Dark Flame Master. But once Yuuta entered senior high, he graduated the chuunibyou world. Then one day, he meets a girl with an eyepatch and a dark black dress called Rikka, who is still under the 8th-Grader Syndrome. As the two become closer, Yuuta discovers the pros and cons to chuunibyou and what it means to grow up.

The series consisted of 12 episodes, with a single OVA and 6 ONA’s titled Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! Lite. The series ended two days ago (from the time of this writing), airing during the later half of 2012 (Fall 2012). The series is based on light novel series written by Torako. The anime series is animated by Kyoto Animation, well-known for animating such iconic series as The Melancholy of Suzumiya HaruhiClannad and K-ON! (many fans have cited that the art styles of K-ON and Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! are similar; it is because they are both done by KyoAni).

The series features many well-known voice actors such as Jun Fukuyama who does the voice of Yuuta (as well as the voices of Lelouch Lamperogue from Code Geass and Yukio Okumura from Ao no Exorcist), Maaya Uchida who voices Rikka (and also voices Rea from Sankarea) and Azumi Asakura

Conclusion :-

The series is a very cute, very funny romantic comedy that will leave you with a tear in your eyes, whether it may be from laughter or sadness. The main heroine, Rikka, is also included in my Top 10 Cutest Anime Heroines Ever post so go and check it out if you have time. And if you haven’t yet watched this series, and you are fan of moe, fantasy and/or romantic comedy, then I highly recommend this series to you. Because trust me, it might leave you feeling a bit chuunibyou yourself.

Recommendation :-

Of course -,  Its an nice anime.

My rcommendation is 7.5/10.

I strongly recommend it for lover.
